We are Impulse Biomechanics. We are hoping to help change the way people with neurological conditions experience the rehabilitation process. We are creating a wireless and unobtrusive pressure sensing insole that will collect data on various gait analysis metrics such as stride length, stride width, cadence and plantar pressure distribution and display it in real time. Our goal is to provide physiotherapists with data that will help them monitor and track the progress of their patients We also hope to create a software that will be a source of motivation and encourage adherence in patients via a checklist feature and a metronome feature for learning pace automation.
