IMVUSO Holdings (Pty) Ltd ("IMVUSO") is a new generation empowerment company with a vast pool of experience and track record in mining (minerals processing, process development, engineering and R&D), water treatment, surveying (land and mining), property and investment banking. IMVUSO was formed in May 2005 with the aim of establishing and sustaining investments in the following areas: - Property - Mining and Engineering - Support Services, and - Financial Services Although Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) companies come in all shapes and sizes, on close inspection one finds that they fall into two major categories: those that were conceived from existing South African business through investment stakes and bullish markets, and those that were assembled brick by brick and grew through strategy and hard work and well timed mergers. IMVUSO falls in-between the two. IMVUSO has implemented a strategy that positioned it to actively participate in operations of its investee companies. IMVUSO has a hands-on approach to investments, its members strive to actively participate in operations and activities of investee companies and projects as deemed appropriate.
