In Our Genes is a Phoenix based company that combines science, fashion and compassion with the mission to eradicate disease one piece of clothing at a time. Dubbed the founding father of genetic art by Newsweek magazine, Darrin Grandmason is launching his second act in genetic art, and this time, it may just save a few lives.Grandmason started the company DNA Artistry, which pioneered genetic imaging for art and was the first to offer this type of art. His idea to help generate awareness and help fund critical research work for the cures for these killer diseases was to put genetic art on clothing. That idea blossomed into the creation of another "first" - In Our Genes (IOG) - a genetic art clothing company - which launched the first genetic-art clothing line for the mass market; a green line of apparel featuring genetically rendered DNA prints of some of the most challenging diseases people suffer from.
