Incisor, which began its operations in January 2011, is the first Finnish company in the field of laboratory animal science to provide expert services to companies using animal models. Incisor assists new companies in the initialisation, planning and implementation of laboratory animal activities. In addition, the company provides veterinary medical services for laboratory animal facilities and education and training in the field of laboratory animal science by offering staff training and qualification courses for researchers and laboratory animal technicians.Incisor was founded by Iiris Kasanen, who has a PhD in veterinary medicine. She possesses years of working experience as a laboratory animal veterinarian and researcher within the academe. Kasanen completed a Master degree in Laboratory Animal Science at the University of Copenhagen and wrote her dissertation on the feeding methods of laboratory rats.Incisor's business objective is to enable companies to focus on their core expertise and customer service by providing the companies with veterinary services for their laboratory animals.
