Inclusion Lethbridge, formerly known as Lethbridge Association for Community Living's (LACL), is a family based nonprofit association whose members share a dream of creating a meaningful, inclusive life in the community for their relatives with a disability. Our goal is twofold: to ensure a safe and secure future for individuals with a disability and, in the process, to provide individuals with disabilities and their families with peace of mind.Lethbridge Association for Community Living provides the following supports, services, and resources to individuals with disabilities, their family members, and community members:• Information about supports and other resources• Crisis Support • Parent-to-Parent monthly meetings• Transition Group Information Nights (for families with loved one with disabilities transitioning from youth to adulthood)• Family Managed Resource Centre • Employment Database for families who practice Family Managed• Opportunities for families to connect socially• Advocacy - individual and systemic, Individual Program Plans, Appeals, etc.• Partnership with government, schools, employers, and communities groups• Workshops and seminars• A quarterly newsletter to help families stay connected on issues important to them• Inclusive Post-secondary education supports and scholarship• Links to provincial & national organizations• General advocacy to create awareness in the larger community.• Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network (PLAN Lethbridge) - facilitated networksLethbridge Association for Community Living strongly believes being a resource to the community and does not discriminate on age or ability.
