Incomindios is a Swiss human rights organization that advocates for the rights of Indigenous Peoples around the globe – with a special focus on North, Central and South America.Incomindios was founded in 1974 on the initiative of the International Indian Treaty Council (IITC). At that time, indigenous delegates gained access to the UN in Geneva to represent their concerns.Since 2003, Incomindios holds consultative status as an NGO at the UN (ECOSOC) and supports the implementation of Indigenous Peoples' rights to recognition, self-determination and justice.
