Indaba is a traditional Zulu term for a special kind of important meeting. An Indaba is an event where "people get together to sort out the problems that affect them all, where everyone has a voice and where there is an attempt to find a common mind or a common story that everyone is able to tell when they go away from it."In that spirit, the Indaba Application Network -- IAN -- seeks to become a platform that empowers collaborative venues. IAN's mission is to build better tools for better democracies.
