"Blake Ragghianti has studied music composition and piano performance for over twenty years. His extensive travels have been a primary inspiration and influence in his compositional style, inspiring a collection of works that blend aspects of an array of genres and cultures. He is currently a composer in residence at the Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra. In December of 2008 Blake composed two theme songs for Glenn Beck's nationally touring broadway show "The Christmas Sweater," now available on DVD. After the success of The Christmas Sweater, Beck again commissioned Blake to compose the music for his 2010 Christmas musical. More recently, Blake was commissioned by Brady Allred of the University of Utah Singers and the Salt Lake City Choral Artists and A Cappella Choir to compose a major sacred work. Other recent projects include, a seven song piano cycle based on the seven primary questions of humanity, sound design and orchestration consultation for the upcoming horror film "12/24" and "Scream Fest."
