The Indian logistic industry has been gaining traction, with e-commerce penetration, economy revival, GST implementation, E-Waybill and government initiatives like "Make in India", National Integrated Logistic Policy, 100% FDI in warehouses and food storage facilities, etc. Considering the aforementioned aspect, the Indian logistic industry is projected to grow at a CAGR of 15-20% during FY16~FY20 thus resulting in one of the highest incremental human resource requirement of 11.7 million (70%) from 2013-2022.Currently a corporate fleet is likely to represent the second largest cost, after payroll, for many organisations. The demands on the individuals responsible for managing fleets have expanded even further to embrace legislative changes in HSE compliance and contract, Moreover, a new breed of retail players like Uber, Ola Cabs, Meru Cabs giving quality assurance resulted in an increased demand of trained individuals. These retail players with the support of huge foreign funding replaced conventional modes of transport with an app-based preference for consumers across all major as well minor cities.
