INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NAGPUR (IIITN) is one of the twenty-three Indian Institutes of Information Technology in India. Set up with the objective of making available facilities for higher education, research and training in various fields of Information Technology. Established in the year 2016 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India, to addresses the challenges faced by the Indian IT industry and growth of the domestic IT market. It is declared as an institute of national importance by "The Indian Institutes of Information Technology (Public-Private Partnership) Act of Parliament, 2017". The institute is committed to get itself recognized as a leader in Information Technology related science and engineering. It wishes to establish a firm foundation for education and research with a high-quality faculty base and having the vision to be the fountainhead of new ideas and innovations in technology and science. IIIT, Nagpur strives to create an ambiance in which new ideas, research and scholarship flourish and from which the leaders and innovators and IT-entrepreneurs of tomorrow emerge.
