The purpose of Indian Students Association will be to raise awareness and conduct event in support of the Indian culture and its festivals, keeping in mind their traditions.The Indian Students Association will enhance the educational, recreational, social, or cultural environment of the University of Toronto Scarborough by providing students involved with the Indian Students Association the opportunity to:- Gain knowledge about Indian culture- Gain leadership experience in an extracurricular and volunteer setting- Develop organizational and teamwork skills while working closely in order to meet the goals of ISAThe Indian Students Association fundamentally serves a non-profit function within the University of Toronto Scarborough, and will not engage in activities that are essentially commercial in nature.The Indian Students Association operates as an independent entity working within the University of Toronto Scarborough community subject to the values and policies of the University.
