MISSION STATEMENTOur aims and objectives are to provide everyone in the Coachella valley with an equal opportunity to appreciate the experience and cultural diversity that live theatre provides.We believe that the arts are the fulfillment of human aspirations and shall therefore provide a variety of affordable entertainment events to all audiences, which will encourage community participation and stimulate educational programs for young people.The Indio Performing Arts Center (IPAC) is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization located in the Down Town area of the City of Indio which is part of the Coachella Valley region of riverside County. We are twenty miles East of Palm Springs.Operating within a 21,000 square foot former movie house we have three stadium theatres of 143 seats each and a large exhibition hall which holds 400 people. We provide performing arts presentations, film festivals, exhibitions, concerts and dance events. Our facility is also available for rent to community, commercial and private organizations. (Details can be found on our web site at www.indioperformingartscenter.org)We also facilitate stage craft classes in singing, dance, acting, sound/ light, set design for all age groups through external teachers, partners and in-house mentors. Our facility is owned by the City of indio who are committed to support the arts. A Board of Directors who assist and support the center in fund raising, accountancy, marketing and promotions.
