Individualized Intellect Institute (I3) will be a new, tuition-free private school located in Memphis. The mission of I3 isto provide individualized education for students grades 6 through 12 with the sole purpose of skills mastery. I3students will graduate with post-secondary plans, employable skills, employable certificates, and required standardsmastery.I3 will open its doors in the fall of 2022 with a cap of 175 students (25 of each age grouping 12-18). Students willreceive individualized educational plans , will proceed through education at their individual levels and speeds, and willmeet regularly with specialized teachers. I3 teachers and students will each receive dedicated technology andconnectivity solutions to ensure a true 1-to-1 addressing the technological divide that exists in Memphis.I3 eligibility will be limited to students whose families receive government aid and/or who fall within TemporaryAssistance for Needy Families criteria. Students must apply for admission and acceptance is completed via lottery.I3 will operate Mondays through Thursdays from 9AM to 4PM.I3 will provide one hot meal per day for students and snacks in the late afternoon.I3 will operate year-round with three weeks of each month in person and one week of vacation time per month forstudents and staff.I3 parents will be required to participate weekly with assignments from teachers but will be compensated via gasolinedebit cards in lieu of transportation provided by the school.I3 will provide a dedicated GED program for parents of students with the intent on improving not just the life of ourstudents but also the lives of our families and furthermore the lives of the community.I3 will offer tuition-based, online private school worldwide using the individualized approach. This wing of theorganization is founded to fund and support the tuition-free, in-person wing.
