• To produce unified base map as reference, which means that all sectoral maps will be designed in reference to one unified base map. • To facilitate unified standard to be used by government agencies to produce, managing, sharing, and utilizing maps, including spatial data infrastructure development and maintenance. • To facilitate unified database standards, means the information to be included in the maps should be registered from the same source of data so there will be no duplication of data which may affect the map's accuracy. • To have one map geoportal. means, all maps should be registered and can be opened from one map geoportal, www.tanahair.indonesia.go.id.
