Indus International, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidary, Indus MIS, Inc. has been in operation since 1985. To this day we are a leader in the micrographics industry. We entered the Document Management business in the early 1990's and entered the Book Scanner market in 2001. Since 2001 we have been marketing various Overhead Book Scanning products to the market. We carry a complete line of Book Scanners for all needs and specifications. This includes the German Bookeye line of Book Scanners, the ProServ line of large format Book Scanners, the Konica Minolta line of overhead Book Scanners, the Treventus Scan Robot 2.0MDS robotic Book Scanner and our very own Book Scanning solution, the BookScanner 9000. The Book Scanner 9000 was recently released into the marketplace after 2 years of research and development. It is the first U.S. manufactured, overhead Book Scanner on the market and has been designed and manufactured in the United States. The BookScanner 9000 is a A2+ scanning solution with a scan bed of 18" x 28", when open. It scans at a true optical resolution of 400 dpi. The scanner takes 2.7 seconds to scan an image and scans in both directions. It includes adjustable cradles, coverglass and a foot pedal as well as our own Virtual LIbrary software.
