Industrial engineers learn to apply human resources, machines, materials, information and energy to the optimized and efficient production of goods and service delivery. Students in Gannon University's industrial and systems engineering (ISE) program are well poised to acquire these life-long skills and have a choice of six concentrations offered in the program. They are:• Economics and financial systems• Ergonomics and human factors• Healthcare systems• International industrial engineering• Production engineering• Supply chain and logistics systemsThe ISE program allows students the flexibility to collaborate with other areas on campus, such as mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, the Dahlkemper School of Business, the Small Business Development Center and the Erie Technology Incubator. This program will teach students to become leaders in IE as they learn key components of the field, such as designing efficient and safe working environments.
