IndyBaroque Music, Inc. (IBMI) is the umbrella organization of the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra (IBO) and the Indy Baroque Chamber Players (IBCP). It is dedicated to performing music of the 17th- and 18th-centuries using period instruments and historically informed performance practices. IBO is the only professional ensemble of its kind in Central and Southern Indiana, and is comprised of between 10 and 22 musicians depending on the particular repertoire being performed. The musicians of IBMI are among the best-regarded American specialists performing on period instruments, and an important part of their mission is to share their knowledge and expertise with the larger musical community of Indianapolis.
