UMA is the outcome of the merger of two major automotive brands' dealers in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Arabian Motors & Engineering Company (Ameco - Zahid) an international automotive dealer since 1946 and General Machinery Agencies (GMA) a leading automotive dealer since 1957. Since then, UMA has expanded its network from 5 showrooms and 450 employees to 26 branches in 18 cities across the Kingdom with online real time connectivity to all locations and more than 2,000 employees. In July 2018, UMA entered the premium automotive sector under the title UNIVERSAL PREMIUM MOTORS AGENCIES (UMA Premium) with the relaunch of the Infiniti brand in the Kingdom. Currently, three dealerships in Jeddah, Riyadh & Khobar provide Sales & Aftersales services to customers, with UMA Premium embarking on an aggressive dealer expansion program over the next three years to make the Infiniti brand accessible to all customers Kingdom wide.
