Information Technology Certification Security Council Details
The ITCSC was founded in 2001 as a membership association for Information Technology industry certification programs. At its height, twenty-seven IT member companies pooled resources and expertise to address the problem of intellectual property (IP) theft. Focusing initially on best practices for IP protection, the ITCSC became a forum for cooperation on both civil and criminal enforcement.The ITCSC ended operations in late 2004 by conveying its library of test security best practices to the Association of Test Publishers (ATP). The ITCSC's mission lives on for the benefit of all test publishers in the ATP's Security Committee.
