Initiant Health Collaborative (Initiant) consists of five of South Carolina's largest health systems and its main focus is to drive-down health care costs. Initiant is a limited liability company owned by its founding members. Those five founding members are: Greenville Health System, McLeod Health, MUSC Health, Palmetto Health and Self Regional Healthcare. The business and purpose of Initiant is to enable its members to aggregate their efforts and expenditures to achieve savings, to explore deployment of clinical programs and services that will improve access and quality of health care provided to patients, and to add value to its members, patients, and the communities it serves.
