Initiative for Peace and Development (IPAD) is an independent, non-partisan and non-profit organization working in Pakistan on the issues associated with peace and development. It is established in 2015 under Trust Act of 1882 with an approach to focus on the issues of peace and development and will see no bounds by working all over Pakistan.IPAD associates belong to development/humanitarian sector and committed for peaceful and developed society. It is an initiative to promote social responsibility, peaceful environment and to realize inclusive and sustainable development. Our primary focus includes; promotion of impartial and inclusive quality education, gender equity, health, economic growth and capacity building. VISION:To become leaders in the peace building and to promote life-long learning opportunities for all.MISSION:IPAD is an initiative, to promote peaceful and comprehensive societies for sustainable development through impartial quality education and capacity building, and to provide access to learning for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.CORE VALUES:• Respect for the Individual• Trustworthy• Teamwork• Results-OrientedOBJECTIVES:• Address the causes and effects of conflict and strengthen existing mechanisms for conflict prevention and resolution• Advocate for legal and civil society structures necessary for peace development process• Support the education sector to address social exclusion and promote social cohesion• Increase livelihood opportunities through skills building for groups at risk of conflict• Empowering women to support themselves
