We're a startup group with a love for creative writing and experience in online marketing. We don't like the trajectory online blogging for college students is following. Today, the biggest rage is "shares" or "clicks". But neither of those have any rooting in quality.We believe writing is not a corporate money-maker, it is an art form. Students should be rewarded for writing engaging, memorable pieces with a distinct purpose. We want the experience of our writers' emotions and imagery at the forefront. We do not want to be asking our readers to take a quiz to determine which Pretty Little Liars character they would be. (And a hint, just to save you some time. You're gonna get Hanna. We already took it. We all got Hanna.)That's why we pay our freelance writers royalties on their work. In fact, most of the ad revenue their pieces generate every month goes right into their own pockets. We let them keep ownership of their work. They can delete it, redistribute it, publish it elsewhere, or change it as they see fit. We offer a team of social media promoters and web designers that help to promote their work more broadly. We are going after the mainstream "unpaid internship" cartel that preys on America's college students and reaps in big profits in exchange for "job experience".
