The Historic Inn at 835 is located in the heart of Springfield, just three blocks from many governmental facilities & landmarks, including the State Capitol, The Museum and the State Library.Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, we are best known for our unique Bed & Breakfast. The B&B is truly one of a kind, offering eleven guest rooms and two outer garden suites. Each room offers the character of a by-gone era, yet provides all of today's modern amenities. We were recently voted the Best B&B, through the Illinois Times. If you haven't been in for a stay, we'd love to have you! Our Conservatory & Caucus Lounge venue, is one of Springfield's best kept secrets! The venue offers an ideal setting for memorable events, and exquisite cuisine, including unparalleled passion and intense focus on providing first class service. With a total of 8500 sq. ft. of entertaining space, the Historic Inn parlors of the Inn can entertain up to 125 guests for a cocktail reception or 75 guests for dinner. The Conservatory & Caucus Lounge venue can accommodate up to 300 guests for a cocktail reception, or 250 guests for a dinner event. The Conservatory boast a private garden area, making it a popular venue for garden weddings and receptions. Both locations possessing; high speed internet connection, free parking and audio and visual rentals. Our in-house catering is provided by Conn's Catering.
