Inner Melbourne Clinical Psychology is a special place to practice as a psychologist. We've created a space where our psychologists feel valued, supported and stimulated, so that they can do their best work with clients.We work as autonomous clinicians, but we come together and are bound by our shared commitment to warmth, client-centredness, clinical excellence, community connectedness and ethical governance.We aspire to encourage a shift in the culture and discourse around mental health. Where help-seeking is seen as the brave step that it is and real, open conversations about what it means to be human are the norm.How do we do things differently?// We get that private practice can be isolating. We create a sense of community through monthly peer supervision, quarterly team meetings, free twice yearly professional development, a private Facebook group, an informal buddy system for new psychologists and social events// Our Support Team take care of most reception and administration duties and in the words of our psychologists are "invaluable" // We provide beautifully appointed, professional consulting rooms// We believe that work-life balance is essential. Our psychologists control their caseload and our team only see between four and six clients each day// We are almost always fully booked across our team, so you never need to worry about having a quiet calendarOur practice was founded in 2014 by Dr Jacqueline Baulch to change the face of psychology from a formal, clinical space to an accessible, human and innovative environment - while still maintaining high levels of professionalism and ethics. Dr Baulch saw a need to create a whole-hearted practice where psychologists could focus their energy on doing great work with clients, while everything else is taken care of.
