Nonprofit Organization Management - Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark
InnoAid is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that was founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in January 2008 by a group of young passionate people within design engineering, medicine and pharmacy. They all shared a common interest in taking action in addressing development challenges by using their academic skills. Today InnoAid has grown to be an international organisation with multiple ongoing projects. The mission of InnoAid is to increase quality of life for people, by co-creating innovative solutions with academia and locals where aid is needed.InnoAid aspires to be unique in the way we identify, develop and implement projects. In practical terms this means that we work with new challenges of development or view challenges from new perspectives and focus greatly on co-creating innovations rather than scaling existing solutions. Through the projects we gain experiences across countries, type of partnerships and traditional development sectors. We build upon our project experience to inspire and develop new projects guided by the 6 InnoAid drivers:- Innovation- Co-creation- Sustainability- Cross-diciplinary- Academic PerspectiveThe 6 drivers are translated into unique practical approaches, tools and activities in a given project, supported by the organisation's units and guided by our strategic know-how.
