Innovation Academy at the University of Notre Dame's IDEA Center offers learning experiences for working professionals and organizations looking to create a sustainable culture of innovation. Our programs are developed and taught by innovation practitioners, for innovation practitioners.Innovation Academy offers regularly scheduled and custom programs designed to support you as you build an internal infrastructure for innovation—from developing talent to embedding an entrepreneurial mindset throughout your organization. We also connect you to the IDEA Center's wealth of expertise and resources for commercialization—de-risking, prototyping, idea development, etc.—as you prepare to launch ideas into the marketplace.Our central philosophy of innovation is the Unifying Innovation Methodology™, an unbiased approach that combines the world's leading innovation tools into a single framework for decision-making. Our offerings include the Certified Innovation Mentor Program, a custom program designed to develop practitioners with a mastery of innovation methodology, and Innovation Action Boot Camp, a regularly scheduled week-long immersion in the principles of innovation for mid-level leaders and teams.Although our programs are grounded in the principles of innovation theory, our emphasis is firmly on practice. Our faculty are seasoned corporate innovation veterans who know what works and what doesn't when it comes to innovating in an established corporate culture—they can offer expert guidance no matter where you are on your innovation journey.
