Agriculture - N/A, N/A, US
With a small herd of registered British Guernsey and American Alpine dairy goats, we are working to conserve the heritage breed Guernsey on our small farm in the beautiful hills of southern Indiana. We raise heritage breed chickens and ducks. Honeybees live in our apiary, with a portion of our land dedicated to pollinator habitat. The timbered portion of the farm is managed for conservation. The dairy goats provide generous quantities of rich milk, which we use to create soaps, lotions, body butters, and other bath and body products for sale through our website and at local Farmer's Markets.Microgreens, leafy greens, and baby vegetables are available on a pre-order basis or at our local Farmer's Market. We are members of the Informantics for Community Food Resilience program at Purdue University, working to assure food resilience in our local communities, and are members of Indiana Grown.
