Shifting Shap3s is a female-run social enterprise and a creative centre for upcycling plastic waste into new user-centric products. The company works toward reducing the plastic waste of the city while involving the local community in the design and upcycling processes. Shifting Shap3s also works on researching and identifying new applications for discarded plastics and recovering what is being landfilled. Shifting Shap3s uses digital manufacturing methods to minimize the environmental impact of the upcycling process and benefiting from the freedom of design that these technologies offer.
