M-ERSE is a patented, new visual and experiential application for the Internet. Its mission is uniting people and places through technology. Via the Internet, viewers (M-ERSErs) may travel to, and be M-ERSEd in, remote sites (real places in real time) on any device with Internet access. There, they will enjoy complete 360° freedom of movement and observation within a variety of stimulating environments. Simultaneously, (and critically) M-ERSE permits M-ERSErs to communicate with other M-ERSErs in these remote sites creating a unique social experience. M-ERSE’s technology has been enthusiastically embraced by IBM who is an investor of resources valued at $1.0MM, the U.K.’s Cable and Wireless who has agreed to provide $750K in ISP infrastructure and Panavision for required cameras (valued at $1.3MM). Additionally, IMG WORLD has proposed the creation of a global content and production consortium comprised of M-ERSE, IMG WORLD, BBC and British Telecom.
