We are a F&B management company based in Shanghai, managing our coffee brand Insider Coffee, which got this name due to our location: we are inside the Beehive co-working space at Guangji Rd, Hongkou District. We also want to transmit the message that we as an insider, are confident about our coffee, food and service. The owner Alex is from Germany, and has spent a lot of time in west Germany, California, New York as well as Shanghai. As a big fan of coffee and café culture, while living in China, Alex found it challenging to find a good café that provides consistently good coffee and friendly working environment. Therefore, a café that blends European style coffee, American bagels, German pastries as well as sincerely welcoming staff- Insider Coffee was born. Here you can not only enjoy the food and coffee that we make wholeheartedly, but also experience the strong café culture.
