InsideVenture pioneered the Private Markets to restore exits and liquidity to the venture industry, and built the first platform to connect public and late-stage investors to the highest quality private, venture-backed companies for direct primary and secondary investing. InsideVenture built a consortium of 12 VC firms, the NYSE, T. Rowe Price, Wasatch Advisors, Silicon Valley Bank, and others, and launched an investor conference and think tank that helped develop its new HPPO pre-IPO product. InsideVenture was highlighted as Pillar 2 of the NVCA's 2009 4 Pillar Plan to Restore Liquidity and Exits to the Venture Industry. InsideVenture was acquired by SecondMarket, which was subsequently acquired by the Nasdaq Private Markets.
