Inspiracíon-Waco is a non-profit organization based in Waco, Texas. Inspiracíon-Waco offers a research-based curriculum that promotes school readiness for toddlers, and preschool-aged children from at-risk Latino families. Services are provided in a variety of settings including our current campus, Alta Vista Elementary School, and the children's own home. Inspiracíon-Waco creates a positive educational environment by offering a variety of learning experiences such as, the introduction to sight words and numbers, outdoor and indoor play, and socialization experience with peers. In addition, Parent Educators go to the homes of the students to work with both parents and children on learning and development skills. Inspiracíon-Waco will be working with the families of Alta Vista Elementary, 1 of the 5 under performing schools in Waco ISD. The non-profit focuses on empowering at-risk Latino families to break the cycle of poverty by fostering parenting knowledge and skills that directly impact children's development.Inspiracíon-Waco is ran by a Board of Directors, and employs 4 program staff. Inspiracíon-Waco wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the dedicated members of our Board, and the community supporters who selflessly donate towards our cause!
