Inspired Initiatives is an innovation consulting firm on a mission to build solutions that level the playing field for marginalized communities and help people in need. To achieve this, they offer a range of services specifically to organizations funded to work with these populations. Locally, they provide program design training, consulting as well as facilitation for organizations, in the social sector, looking to increase enrollment, retention and engagement in their programs. On a global scale, Inspired Initiatives works with governments, community stakeholders and experts to use Design Thinking to create solutions to challenging and complex social issues. Their philosophy is that by helping these organizations do better, they in turn, have helped the community to do better. Their aim is to challenge the social sector to revisit their ‘why' and shatter the institutional thinking that focuses on numbers over the needs of the people.They have worked with a number of partners including youth detention centers, school boards, college/universities, non-profits, corporations, cities and much more.
