INSTINC was founded by Singaporean artist Yeo Shih Yun in November 2004. As an artist-run space, INSTINC aims to foster friendships and collaborations with other artists as well as with other organizations. INSTINC has collaborated with Guinness, Smirnoff, Moleskine, Her World, Singapore among many others over the years. instinc is a dynamic space in continuous process of creation and is committed in supporting all forms of contemporary art.Through exhibitions, art workshops, artists' talks, international artist residency programs, collaborations as well as independent art events,INSTINC aims to:* Establish an exciting platform where artists(both local and intenational) can engage with contemporary art and critical discourses.* Maintain independence as an artist-run space whilst maintaining a high degree of professionalism in all aspects of art management.* Create opportunities for artists to work and collaborate with corporations and organizations.
