IPHD offers internships, research programs and community development working opportunities with grassroots communities in India. Programs are structured to cater for the needs of students, scholars and mature age professionals. The organization was founded by Madhu Vaishnav, who has worked in community development for more than 10 years. IPHD is an enabler for those who aspire to learn, research, work and contribute in the developing world. We strive to incorporate our values into everything we do. The purpose of IPHD is to provide Education Services and consequently we place a high value on education – in fact we regard all IPHD community development programs as experiential learning programs – whether it be in a workshop, research or practical field setting. IPHD has many different community members, including those local partners with whom we work with in the field. community care is therefore another significant value. We pride ourselves on being an open and accountable organization with a conscious belief in action.The purpose of IPHD is to provide community development education services and research for the local and international community, using practical project based studies, that contribute to well-being, integration and self-sufficiency" The objective of all our programs is to provide beneficial and durable outcomes to both the recipients of a project i.e. the local community; and the initiators of these field work based projects i.e. the intern, scholar or mature age professional.
