The Institute for Psychosocial Research in Child and Adolescent Wellbeing (I-PRECAW) is a dynamic psychosocial research institute dedicated to addressing the broad health challenges and enhancing the wellbeing of children and adolescents in Ghana, in particular, and Africa in general. As a not-for-profit and a non-governmental organisation, we work to promote better understanding and improving psychological and social wellbeing of children, adolescents, and their families through interdisciplinary, cutting-edge and innovative psychosocial research into health promotion, health services, policy and practice.I-PRECAW brings together prolific and experienced researchers in different universities and institutions from across the world to work on different research projects particularly related to young people in Africa on various psychosocial risk and protective factors in areas such as mental health, neurodevelopmental abnormalities, behavioural health, health inequalities and education.
