William & Mary's Institute for the Theory & Practice of International Relations (ITPIR) is a hub for collaborative, policy-relevant research that employs rigorous social science methods and makes meaningful contributions to contemporary international debate, policy, and practice.\\By catalyzing student-faculty research partnerships, engaging a global network of scholars and policy makers, producing policy-relevant scholarship, and developing innovative data sets, ITPIR bridges the gap between theory and practice in International Relations and informs decisions that make a global difference.\\ITPIR is home to eight projects with diverse methods and goals: AidData; The American Bosnian Collaboration; Center for African Development; MANOS; Project on International Peace and Security; SOMOS: Teaching, Research, and International Policy; and Violent Intranational Political Conflict and Terrorism.
