The Institute of Certified Tax Accountants (ICTA) is a not-for-profit professional body for Tax Accountants established in Zimbabwe. We confer a Tax Technician Diploma and a post graduate diploma in Applied Taxation. Vision To become the leading international body of tax practitioners and to adhere to best international tax practices. Mission The promotion and sharing of ideas and the adherence of best practices among persons practicing as Certified Tax Accountants. To promote or assist in promoting legislation which may be deemed to be of advantage to the profession. To provide a recognized qualification and membership of persons engaged or aspiring to be engaged in tax duties, provide an organisation for such person granted such qualifications, to promote in the public interest the technical competence of such persons and to make provision for the exercise of professional supervision over them. Public Interest Role We engage with Government through the Ministry of Finance, Revenue Authority and the Public Service in a constructive manner to work towards improvement of Tax policy and administration. This is done at institute level and through the Public Accountants and Auditors Board.
