The Institute of Medicine and Radiomedicine was founded in 2014, at the initiative of the medical professionals linked to the radionuclear area who served CNEA and ARN, from 1960 onwards. It is composed of multidisciplinary professionals with extensive experience acquired in the country and abroad. The presence of the Institute completes an aspect that until now was not offered in the country, tending to the reduction of risks not always contemplated in the activities of occupational medicine and work hygiene, oriented exclusively to the radiological and nuclear. NGO In October 2016, the authorities of the Institute resolved unanimously to start the legal framework under the figure of a non-governmental non-profit organization (NGO).
