ππ’π¬π’π¨π§:- Easy transition of novice researchers into the institute culture and nurture their growth.ππ’π¬π¬π’π¨π§:- Making the students aware of the facilities and opportunities that are available at IIT Bombay.ππ¨ππ₯:- We are here to guide the candidates to an entirely new environment and be a helping hand through the institute.PhD life is a completely different chapter of a student life in terms of cultural, socio-economic, academic aspects etc. Newly arrived PhD students generally face many problems related to academic/non-academic issues. This led to conception of the idea of companions for the new research scholars, at par with Student Companion Programme for the new post graduate students. Companions will try to make life here at IITB as βHome Away From Home' for the newcomers. They will help them to cope up with IITB life in both academic and non-academic ways.
