Correio Internacional aims to be a complementary source of information to the traditional media in Brazil. Its main objective is to open a new space to the brazilian youth for international issues, human rights and enviromental questions. It was by bearing this in mind that the Correio was idealized: a portuguese-language selection of articles from the international press, offering to its brazilian readers a different perspective of their country, and proposing alternative points of view on the international agenda.
