. InteGen Ltd has now ceased trading as a consultancy. Peter Mayell has started a full time job as a Commercial Manager at AWE. Peter can still be contacted on peter.mayell@integen.co.uk.Integen remains as a vehicle for the sale/development of a patent-pending innovative device: the Automatic De-Icer. This is a static device for the automatic spreading of salt or grit over an area of pavement. The device is triggered by a combination of temperature and time, and contains sealed cartridges of medium, so that it needs re-filling only after 8 uses. The device removes a need for staff or contractors to respond early in the morning to de-ice relatively small areas.
