The Intelligent Transportation Society of America advances the research and deployment of intelligent transportation technologies to save lives, improve mobility, increase accessibility and equity, promote sustainability, and improve efficiency and productivity. ITS America members are leading the technological modernization of our transportation system by supporting the research, deployment, and public policy for the future of intelligent transportation systems (ITS). We facilitate collaboration between private companies, public agencies, research institutions and academia while educating the public about the importance of intelligent transportation systems. Our mission: to create a policy environment that drives ITS and IoT development & deepens industry engagement. Our vision is a better future transformed by intelligent mobility: safer, greener, smarter. The advocacy work of ITS America translates business objectives into policy that reinvents and creates markets that develop into business opportunities; through legislative & regulatory initiatives, grassroots coalition building & educational efforts, policy-aligned conferences & programs, and standards development.We are the only national organization to provide this unique intelligent transportation environment.
