INTENTA is a small team of specialists working to bridge the clinical skills gap around Digital Disorders. We deliver an internationally accredited training program for mental health professionals to learn about problematic and disordered digital use. Rather than advocating for less technology and digital use, Intenta equips mental health professionals with resources on digital disorders to empower an intentional digital culture.Helping professionals are faced with unique challenges in the modern digital world. Without understanding rapidly changing developments in digital culture, clinicians risk causing harm to clients by making ineffective and counterproductive interventions.Therefore, Intenta developed its flagship web-based clinical curriculum, International Gaming Disorder Training, bringing up-to-date research and strategies on gaming disorders for counselors to employ in their outreach, prevention, and clinical settings.Our 15-hour online course employs a mix of self-paced, online training chat and optional 1:1 live sessions.
