As the uniting institute for health sciences and technology on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus, the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute (IHSI) is rooted in research and grounded in tech. IHSI supports faculty-driven research by organizing around health challenges, team building, coordinating projects, and managing grant efforts.To provide focus to critical health topics, ISHI currently supports three program areas: Cancer, Neuroscience, and Precision Medicine. Within these program areas, IHSI is helping investigators find collaborators, connect with clinical partners, locate mentors, secure grant funding, and much more. Along with Carle Foundation and OSF Healthcare to the Mayo Clinic and more, IHSI makes a point to foster medical breakthroughs that help people help themselves.
