International Business College（IBC）is a young college of South China Normal University (SCNU) integrating teaching resources of advantageous majors , that is Economics, Management and Foreign Languages on Nanhai Campus of SCNU, which has extensive cooperation with colleges overseas and offers distinctive undergraduate talent cultivation. The college is composed of business management department, French department and College English department. Now two majors are run that is Finance Management and French majors. With two these majors passing the professional accreditation of newly-added bachelor's degrees organized by Guangdong Office of Degree Authorization in 2011, IBC aims to construct distinctive undergraduate majors and cultivate international, versatile and practical talents with international standards.The college is striving to adopt new teaching model to develop versatile and creative talents with international vision. For the basic and professional courses of Financial Management Major, original textbooks overseas are used for bilingual or English immersion education. Besides, the tutor responsibility system is implemented. The French major's talent training scheme and curriculum setting consulted "Common Reference Framework of European languages". By offering courses in collaboration with colleges or universities in French speaking countries, the French major students are expected to become senior-level practical talents with international horizon who can skillfully use both French and English to conduct inter-cultural communication.
