The International Dyslexia Association – Oregon Branch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in 1975 by Dorothy Blosser Whitehead. Along with 26 global partners, it is one of 44 state branches of the International Dyslexia Association in the United States and Canada. IDA provides educator training, publications, and information and support to help struggling readers around the world. The IDA -Oregon Branch includes Oregon plus the southwest Washington State counties of Pacific, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania and Klickitat.
