International Fuel Safety Advisory (IFSA) is an Illinois-based training company that provides Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved coursework on fuel fire safety, hazardous substance and material storage, fuel vehicle maintenance, and aviation fuel inspections for international aviation professionals. IFSA is not only a training provider, but also a certifying body with the capability of issuing certifications to airport fuel agencies, fuel storage facilities, fire departments, and other parties as it relates to FAA part 139.321, "handling and storing of hazardous substance and material."Upon completion of the "Aviation Fuel Fire Safety & Inspection Course", IFSA students walk away with: • A full understanding of FAA part 139.321, "handling and storing of hazardous substance and material."• Knowledge of inspection procedures and in turn, knowledge of how to properly maintain vehicles, handle/receive jet fuel, and keep accurate records in order to pass inspections with flying colors. • Insight into how best to immediately update or adjust internal fueling procedures in order to ensure personnel and passenger safety. • An FAA certification valid for 2-years. Our goal is not just to provide students with a required certification, but to equip aviation personnel with knowledge on best practices to operate safely because fuel safety means life safety for all involved. While IFSA is based in Illinois, we strive to provide the best and most up-to-date training to aviation professionals around the world.
