International Health Security Experts is a consulting group of independent international experts from public and private sector driven by a commitment to support global and national health security preparedness and response in developing countries through technical and operational expertise that is evidence-based. The IHSE mission is to support global health security policies, strategies and programmes to:Develop and strengthen national and transnational preparedness and response strategies and programmes to public health emergencies.Conduct assessment and evaluation of national and local policies and programmes to prepare and respond to public health emergencies. Develop multi-sectoral training programs for preparing and responding to public health emergencies. Contribute to the international agenda for global health security issues, promoting evidence based practices. Enhance links, coordination and information sharing among key stakeholders working in global health security issues.
