he International Jew's Harp Society (IJHS) was formed at the 3rd International Jew's Harp Congress and Festival in 1998 in Molln/Austria, with the aim of bringing together as many of the enthusiasts for the instrument as possible.\\Not only does it promote and support international congresses and festivals that involve players from around the world, but also publishes a Journal and an increasingly acknowledged twice yearly newsletter. This website has been set up to provide basic information on the Society prior to the launch of the Society's new site, which is under construction.\\With members and affiliated clubs and organisations from around the globe, we are the premiere development and advocacy organisation promoting the playing, research and general sharing of information on the Jew's harp worldwide.
